Aims
The
course is appropriate for managers, supervisors and proprietors
of smaller companies, working in construction and also anyone
wishing to progress into these positions. The course will
enable delegates to ensure that safety issues are managed
efficiently, protecting the workforce, other people and the
general environment, and will ensure that legal compliance
is achieved. Upon successful completion of the course, delegates
will receive a Managing Safely Certificate, issued by the
Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). It is
recognised under IOSH’s continuing professional development
scheme and worth 10 points. Passing this course negates the
need to sit an external exam to qualify for management or
supervisors CSCS cards
